UPDATED 24th March 2008: It has been a long long long time since I last showed an update so I have uploaded a new photo! Not a lot of change has taken place, but I now have a Battle of Britain (Fighter Command) steamer to join the fun and games of Chavington and co. The original Chaverton side of the railway is on a 5ftx3ft section with 3 loops and 2 stations (5 platforms in total). Recently I have added another 5ftx2ft board to allow a further loop and station to come off the outerloop from the Chaverton board. Here there is a new station (Chillington, 3 platforms) and eventually a goods area will be constructed with a depot to help support the two lane shed in Chaverton. Chaverton town has streetlighting and is in a more complete stage than Chillington. The Chillington area is now starting to take shape with a tunnel, 3 platform station, 3 sidings and a 4 lane diesel depot that has a capacity for 8 locos. I am looking to put the final pieces of track in to create an extra long double lane siding for the Eurostar and room for another long train. Chillington is currently being ballasted and having minor track alterations. Station detailing is also going to be taking place with people etc. Chaverton has another couple of houses to be built and some areas need ballasting again. Class 08 passes a workman next to the AWS boxes The 08 returns in style with a big crash Class 37 in EWS Livery After a major engine faliure (seriously) the 37 is back! We have a station and some houses An Intercity Class 08 joins with some scenary The original plan nears completion, still on the dinner table! Ballasted track and more buildings Finally the baseboard arrives The scratch built terminus platoforms Trees, bushes, buildings and ballast! The station now has a roof and a engine/goods shed The 08 comes out of the shed in the light Class 47 delivers a mail train to 'Chaverton'. The mail train makes another delivery. I have slightly weathered the livery now.
